In this surgery, fat tissue is removed with the help of vacuum suction through 2-3 mm incisions using thin, long cannulas with a diameter of 2-3 mm.

The fat deposits in the area to be treated and the quality of your skin will be evaluated. We recommend staying in the hospital for one night after the surgery. Pain following liposuction surgery varies depending on the treated area and the amount of fat removed, but it is tolerable. We prescribe painkillers and antibiotics after discharge. We recommend resting for 7-10 days. You will also need to wear a special compression garment for 6 weeks.
You can see the results of the surgery immediately, but the swelling associated with the operation will take approximately 1-2 months to subside, and it will take 6-12 months to take its final shape.

In liposuction surgery, the number of fat cells in the treated area is reduced. However, if a significant amount of weight is gained, the volume of existing fat cells in the treated area, like other parts of the body, will increase, leading to possible fat accumulation again.

Every surgery carries risks. Early or late complications related to anesthesia or surgery may occur. It is quite normal to experience widespread swelling and bruising in the areas where the procedure was performed during the early postoperative period. Rarely, situations such as bleeding or infection may be observed. The risk increases, especially in smokers. During the recovery period, depressions may rarely occur as the swelling subsides.
