Exosomes are tiny vesicles that facilitate communication between cells. Growth and healing factors are carried from one cell to another. We use these transport particles in our treatments.
Although many different branches use it for many different treatment purposes, we in Plastic Surgery frequently use it on the face, neck, décolleté, hands and scalp.
Exosomes vary depending on the cell they're produced from. They're classified as plant-based, animal-based, or human umbilical cord-derived. In our clinic, I prefer human-derived products.
First, you'll be examined, then a treatment plan will be developed based on your needs and your doctor's recommendations. Before each treatment, photographs will be taken. A numbing cream will be applied to the treatment area and left for approximately 30 minutes. The treatment will then be applied to the planned area. After the treatment, the damaged cells will begin to heal. You may experience some burning during the treatment, but it will subside within a few seconds.
After the procedure, the treated area should not be washed for 3-4 hours. Avoid using different products that could cause a reaction on the same area.
The patient can return to normal life the next day.
There may be mild swelling, bruising, and a burning sensation in the application area. These usually subside within a few days.
After 2 sessions at 1-month intervals, patients are followed up with a single session every 6 months.
If the treatment is performed every 6 months after 2 treatments performed 1 month apart, it may be possible to maintain the same effectiveness for a longer period of time.
